If you wish to register for an event, please contact the organiser shown in the event details. You will need to be a paid member to register for an event (except if mentioned otherwise in the event). Experts to total novices are welcome to join our sailing events. When organising a sailing event, the organiser will always ask the participants about their sailing skill. The organiser will then, based on everyone’s responses, decide on how best to dived the participants into crews.

Christmas Dinner 2021

this year we have the great pleasure to host those of you wish again for the traditional BISC Christmas Dinner, on 11 December 2021.
We return to Le Crabe Fantôme, Avenue du Bois de la Cambre 17/C, 1170 Watermael-Boitsfort, 02-660-8145. Parking is nearby and you are not far from Metro Delta, buses 95 and N08, and tram 8.
We begin dinner at around 20.00, following an extraordinary AGM (you will have received separate info about this), accompanied by an aperitif paid for by the club.
Can we now ask you to commit to coming and let us know your menu choices, and pay.
The cost will be €50, and for that you get:
- Starter
- Main course
- Dessert
- Half-bottle of wine
- Half-bottle of water
- Coffee
Choice of menu is:
- Entrée: La terrine de foie gras d’oie, brioche et poire confite, OR Les ravioles de homard sauce Nantua, roquette et tuile de parmesan
- Main dish: Le filet de faisan farci aux cèpes, chicons fondant, OR Le filet de sole et boulettes de crevettes grises, beurre de crustacés
- Dessert: La tarte Tatin, OR Tiramisu au spéculoos
If you cannot eat one or any of these dishes and would like still to come, please let me know.
As said before, the cost is €50, which please would you transfer to the BISC bank account number: BE88 3630 9930 8741. Please pay this at the same time as you pass your menu choice to me.

Some notes on the COVID situation: the rules announced by the Belgian government earlier this week still allow us to go ahead with the dinner. You will need to bring your COVIDSafe certificate with you. The club recognises that it is an individual choice on whether to attend the dinner or not, based on your personal assessment of any risk you might put yourself under. If you have paid your €50 and the dinner is cancelled, we can let you have your money back in relation to what we know at the moment.
Again by way of reminder, do note that you CAN attend the extraordinary AGM while attending the Christmas dinner. There will be an in-person gathering at the restaurant (while the meeting is also on-line), beginning at 19.00. We encourage you to attend the extraordinary AGM if coming to the dinner. Do please arrive early.
