If you wish to register for an event, please contact the organiser shown in the event details. You will need to be a paid member to register for an event (except if mentioned otherwise in the event). Experts to total novices are welcome to join our sailing events. When organising a sailing event, the organiser will always ask the participants about their sailing skill. The organiser will then, based on everyone’s responses, decide on how best to dived the participants into crews.

Sunday on the Maasplassen

We will sail in open keel boats from Ophaven in (Belgian) Limburg to Wessem in Holland, stop for lunch in a restaurant and return. Ophaven is on a lake where we will hire the boats from Sailcenter Limburg.The lake is connected to the river Maas, so there is a current to consider, although the boats have outboard motors which can help if really needed. Please bring warm and waterproof clothing in case of showers. Life jackets can be hired for a nominal fee.
To register, contact Michael via mrdunhill@belgacom.net advising the number of people, whether experienced or not (can you take charge of a boat?), whether you have a car, and if so, how many people can you take.
Registration deadline: 12th June, but be sure you will come. Once the boats are reserved they are ours, and we must pay for them. We will provide a copy of the restaurant menu and you will need to choose your meal in advance
